Which show tunes do you want passed off? He keeps adding more, wouldn't it be better to get FoEG first, which we all have (if you'll take my humble suggestion)? Also, ready to pass it off whenever you are.

Okay. So Mr. Mote wants me to come in during study hall and lunch tomorrow to pass off trumpets. I have a test during fourth period (C and D) and I have A study hall and B lunch. As long as I'm prepared for my test tomorrow, I'll be coming in during fourth period to pass people off. Geoff will also be passing people off and, if he can come, so will Anthony. We'll be pulling you out of class and into a practice room to finish passing off anything you haven't passed off yet (mainly Hand Jive, and for those who still have the first two songs *cough* Jonathan and Larry *cough* we'll do those. If you have We Go Together ready, I'll pass you off). I really want to get the Closer passed off this week. I'd really rather not have anyone marching on the field with flip folders this Friday. It not only makes it harder to do a good horn pop, but it looks bad, especially when you do a bad horn pop. If you don't have it ready, oh well. Have it for next week. If you do have it ready this week, good job. You're ahead of the rest of the trumpets (except me! lol). Anyway, have your music ready for tomorrow. You never know who we'll be pulling out first *cough* Jonathan and Larry *cough*..... Who's going to be first after them? And just as a hint: if you've already passed off Hand Jive, you're probably safe for this week, but I wouldn't count on it. Those with the fewest show tunes passed off get top priority tomorrow.

Here's the plan for pass-offs for the next two weeks (that's all we have left).
Tomorrow is Masterclass day, so I won't be coming in during Study Hall, but we will have Sectionals after practice again if we have full band. If we're not having full band (which I really doubt), we'll have our usual Sectionals: 2:45-3:00 basics, 3:00-3:30 all trumpets, 3:30-5:00 pass-offs. I'll pass Anthony off first, since you still have Hand Jive and We Go Together to pass off. I'll just have you do We Go Together tomorrow so we can keep moving faster. Geoff will lead the rest of the trumpets in playing through GL, SN, and HJ a few times. Then I'll take Geoff, and Anthony can start working with the others on We Go Together. Then I'll start taking rookies, and Geoff and Anthony can trade off (pass-offs and the rest of the trumpets).
Zach Goodreau and Victoria, I don't know when I can pass you off.
Otherwise, pass-off plans are as follows:
Thursday - Marleigh - WGT Friday - Matt - WGT Monday - Larry - WGT Tuesday - Zac - WGT Thursday - Larry - GL Friday - Jonathan - whatever we can get done
I hope everyone's ready.
Also, remember, we were supposed to have Fire of Eternal Glory memorized by the first home game. I still want everyone working on that. We've been too busy finishing up the show tunes to work on that, but I expect everyone to still be practicing that at home. You also NEED to have the fight song memorized. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to here wrong notes everywhere in the fight song. So be ready. I might have a random spot check some time.
