Sure, I'll be staying after school tomorrow, so if you're still in/outside the band room around 3:30, I can meet with you then.

Introduction, discussion/plans for the season, corps name decision, audition scheduling, money plans (fundraisers, budget, sponsoring, etc.), practice schedule, etc. Basic first meeting.

lol Will Woods, Kennesaw Mountain Trumpet Section Leader, marches drum corps with the Atlanta Spirit. He tried to convince me to try it. Maybe, either I should try it and then bring tips back for our Cherokee Drum Corps, or I could get tips from him. I can contact him for information, so post any ideas you have for me to ask him. I kinda want to do both, but, by doing Cherokee DCA, I'd already be in a drum corps, so I can't really do both. If we've already got everyone looking forward to doing DCA this summer, then I'll do that instead of Spirit. But if we still need more time to plan, and we can tell everyone that we won't be having it this summer, then I'll try out for Spirit and bring back any tips I might come up with if I make it. I'd really like to be able to march with Spirit or some actual DCI corps instead of our local DCA corps, but both are good experiences. So it's basically up to you and everyone who's invited to the Cherokee drum corps whether I do our local corps or a bigger already-established corps...... and I guess it also depends on my audition for Spirit. If we decide that the Cherokee Legion (still not the official name yet) could start this summer, but we could also use a little more time, I can try out, and, if I don't make it, we can continue with the Legion.

Wut? I'm pretty sure Mr. Rice marched with the Atlanta Spirit. And the KMHS Trumpet Section Leader marches with the same one.
