Well, I have to make sure I have all my homework done before the open house. My parents have gone into overdrive with my grades. I'm not sure if I have a ride or not, but if I still have homework, then it's not even an option, and I won't be going.

It was INTENSE. The trumpets weren't trumpets. They were G bugles/sopranos. A C on a G soprano is an A on a Bb trumpet. C on a Bb is Eb on a G. lol I wish I could see the confusion in the faces of random non-band members who stumble across this site.
Speaking of stumbling across this site, McJimmy (the REAL McJimmy) told me that he was using Stumble, and he found this site. If anyone has this site marked, unmark it immediately. We don't want random people like Mote finding this site (lol Mote using Stumble???).

So the next open house is December 7th. There's also an open house for the Alliance that same day. It's at Sprayberry High School in Marietta, which is only half an hour away, as opposed to Alexander High School, which is an hour away. We should consider carpooling again (even though I wasn't with everyone else), but we have to decide which we want to go to. I liked the CorpsVets today, and I really want another chance to try out a G bugle, but it would also be a good idea to check out different corps. I also know my parents refuse to let me even audition for a corps because we won't be able to afford it (because I'm going to other band camps, doing marching band, and my parents are too stubborn to believe in fund-raising). I'm conflicted. Someone decide for me: which one should I go to?
